    Voted! And i agree, it could be a rare mob spawning in creepy biomes like a swamp or a mesa!

    That would be cool! And maybe miner ghosts who spawn in mine shafts and fight with pickaxes

    I think they should be able to cross any block like in spectator mode. They would deal not so much damage but have a lot of health. You would have to place some object  or a cat to ward of them (like cats and phantoms) so that they do not enter your house. They could spawn in swamps or at certain "haunted" locations with a spawner underground.

    They could not get hurt, because there ghosts. You can go through them. I’m guessing they are rare, because it seems over powered.

    I think this would be a cool idea and they follow you in mine shafts but don’t attack you unless your low on health. I think they should operate like boos in Mario when you look at them they hide or disappear but when you aren’t looking at them they continue following you. You could use spectral arrows to reveal them.
