Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

naturally generated bushes

these bushes would generate naturally in the overworld just like trees. this could be a gateway for adding new leaf blocks and fruits such as raspberries, blackberries e.t.c.  that can be harvested from these bushes.

    true, but the bushes in jungles are overgrown and very common. the jungle is currently the only place with bushes, so why not other biomes? the bushes in jungles are much bigger than what i was thinking but also theyre made of the same leaves as jungle trees and dont serve much purpose. where as my bushes would possibly grow berries or at least be made of new leaf blocks.

    I have thought the same, i would love to see bushes in plains biomes, or forests, fruit bushes, or just basic, either way, it would add a good variation to many biomes, and i was thinking they are much to common in jungles, i was actually thinking earlier how the jungle floor is more bush than actual ground, and that has bothered me for a while (it has actually turned me off from jungles due to how annoyingly dense they are) but berries have seemed great in concept for a while

    the bushes in the 1.14 update look really similar to what i was thinking of, but i really hope they add varying sizes. not by block space diffrence but just a few pixels, so theyre not all 100% the same. id imagine that there would be different states for each stage of growth after harvesting just like other crops, but without affecting the size too much since its the berries being harvested.

    Aww the hanging pots look adorable, I''d love to have those in game. More pot-able plants in general would be a great feature for us that like to decorate our builds with them.

    I think it would add so much more to scenery having more types of bushes like i know there are the dried ones in the desert but why not add some with leaves in the oak and birch forests

    Good structures are 2*2*3, 3*2*2 blocks in which you can hide.
