Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Paper and quill

Basically a book and quill but it has a max of one page and is on paper instead of on a book. This would be cool because, realistically, one doesn't use a book to communicate one page of words, he/she uses a sheet of paper.

    Adding the quill as a new item, then it can be used on paper by holding paper in one hand and quill in the other. You can also use it to edit signs after the sign gets wexed, and overlapping the new text with the old one. This can allowe for more creative use of signs, it can be graffiti or somthing cool. Maby it can rename name tags. Edit books on an lectern. The are many resonans to add a quill, it's also the only item named that isn't an stand alone item.

    It would be useful because it requires less material than a book but i think it would have 2 sides instead of one.
