Parrotfish

Parrotfish are a colorful fish that are found in shallow areas of tropical and subtropical areas around the world. This fish would pair up nicely with the aquatic update, especially if a tropical ocean biome was added. The AI of the parrotfish would tell it to act as a normal fish, but seldomly hop up on shore and leave their feces on the sand. The feces of this fish would over time turn the sand which it lies on into white sand.

Why not just have parrotfish 'poop' out white sand in the water and drift to nearby lands to start building the new beaches? Of course it would probably be a slow process but I think that makes more sense for the game.

I can see people farming parrotfish to get lots of white sand lol. Like your idea, hope Mojang considers it whenever they decide to add more creatures to the ocean again!
