(Java) Fly in Survival Mode with Cheats

Make a command in Java Edition to be able to fly in survival mode like console with host privileges or 1.5 for bedrock with /ability @s,@p,@e,@r,@a mayfly true with education Edition option turned on. There are ways to do this with mods or servers but I want an official/single player way to do this.

    If this was implemented as a /command it would make a few custom content creations so much easier, especially with the new functions.

    Right now it's nearly impossible make a land/air mob fully controllable by the player when mounted. Even with the new scripting!
    If there was a /fly command I could make it appear like your riding said mob when in fact it's riding you.
    Until the devs fine tune the controllability of mounted flying mobs this would be an acceptable placeholder. Not to mention the usefullness of being able to activate fly without going into creative mode.

    A way for mojang to add this would be allowing the "mayfly" tag be set to one (true), then it would work, but now, it just says "Unable to modify player data"

    /data modify entity @s abilities:mayfly set value 1b

    this and also ability to edit other player`s abilities like this could give new abilities , like vanilla multitool books will get even more tools

    Fairly sure the /ability mayfly [boolean] is not education edition exclusively because I definitely have used it in normal bedrock.
    Anyway, I think all these issues with commands and parity would be resolved by just creating a completely separate edition for phones and tablets and implementing the best of Java and Bedrock command systems into the console and computer versions.

    I'm having a hard time right now and Minecraft means a lot to me. It would mean so much to me if there was a way to fly in Java on survival. I don't need achievements, but getting to collect and find things that I get to add to my little chests would be so much more enjoyable if I didn't have to constantly keep an eye on the ground to make sure I'm not jumping into a crevasse. It constantly terrifies me and triggers my panic. It seems silly typing it, but I am absolutely desperate for any serotonin right now and constantly being on guard jumping over things just to get my little collections kind of voids the whole experience. Besides that's, it really is generally more exhausting having to jump, then move to the left cause there's a tree, and now the ledge you needed is two blocks away, not one and your stuck. In creative mode, there's not real collecting of things since you already have everything, so it's very unsatisfying. A middle ground of a flying code would mean a lot to me, and I'm sure other people who are looking to relax, but still get the satisfaction of acquisition. Please

    This might similar with in-review /gravity command. Set gravity to zero for player is an idea.
