Rigged chests

Trap chest that explode when opened. Great way to grief.

    Terrible idea, and also super redundant considering you can just wire TNT to a trapped chest to do the same thing. No support.

    But TNT takes time to explode. Plus, you can hear it, so the victim wiuld probably run away with the valuables.

    Exactly, so you strategically put the TNT wherever you expect the player to be after the TNT fuse has run out, not right where the chest is.

    Also, just as a tip, I don't think the Mojang devs want to add features whose primary function is to grief more easily.

    Just put TNT under a trapped chest.  Does the same thing.

    Also, You could always make it using commands.
