Dog beds

There should be dog beds in minecraft if you tame a wolf he will Automatically sleep in the dog bed at night when you sleep and if the dog dies he will respawn at the bed

    Having general pet beds would be really cool! It could be a boat shaped crafting recipe out of wool.

    Yes I so agree no more dead dogo when they die it makes me sad cuz I know for a fact I am not the only person that names a dog and then makes it sit there forever because I don't want it to die this would make me so much happier

    Yeah I totally agree with this post too many players just sit their dog down and never bring it on adventures cuz they're afraid of it to die but I know Mojang is going to be like this is too overpowered so I also think as they compromise for the dog being able to respon I think when it responds it should be sitting in the bed and the player actually has to go all the way back to bed and make the dogs stand to allow the dog to follow him again that way it's not too overpowering or maybe as an added compromise only dogs that are named can respond as well just because I know Mojang is going to be unwilling to add it otherwise

    make it look like a little 1x1 dog bed so i can place it in the "legs" of my bed,

    make it so dogs respawn sitting down, so they don't teleport to you right away, continuing the fight,

    make it so i can click a special item (crafted with a nametag or something) on a dog and then on a dog bed so i can assign a specific dog to a specific bed, and make it so only nametaged dogs can respawn.

    poof. we have a balanced feature that requires work and resources, and the reward is being able to bring your pup to a fight without fear of losing it to pathfinding issues. it's a 1mil $ idea i am waiting for, for almost 8 years now.

    I think what ever animal that is apet in mine crafts code it spawns a bed for that animal

    I love this so much!!! Then we could actually take our dogs with us and if they die, they will be back in their bed when we get home or wherever we put the bed!

    I think that when you get the bed it should not be just for a specific animal so you can assign the bed to any type of pet you want

    A good idea, I think the wolf should be able to respawn without cooldown, but they will spawn at the bed, sitting there no matter what until you go get it to stand. I think the same should go with cats.

    then you would get an infinite dog, not saying that's a bad idea.

    But if they  die at least take away wolf armor (depending how they die)

    I agree, dog beds should be found (just like saddles) and not crafted and should give ONE WOLF (that its assigned to) the ability to respawn

    I love the respawning concept. I have a little sister who gets very attached to her pets and this would help me get less headaches.

    I don't think respawn would be a good idea, but the bed overall seems cute and fun. (If they respawn just by placing a bed, their life would loose meaning, similar to how we don't care if we die in minecraft).

    Unlike how a player comes back immediately, a dog should come back after a few days. Since I think need some type of consequence for getting your dog killed.

    Great idea I would love that my doggy would sleep on his own bed and if they die it would be awesome it would respawn.
