Discord Rich Presence Integration

Using Discord's rich Presents system, Minecraft Java and possibly Windows 10 Edition could display that you're playing Minecraft, what world, server, how long. It could show how many times you've died for example.

You could work with servers like Mineplex to allow for it to show what minigame your playing on the server.

I believe this would be a fantastic addition to the game, thank you for taking the time to review my suggestion.

    This is a really good idea, this would be great especially to allow players to join their friends on either bedrock or Java edition. For the icon, it could be the Minecraft icon on the desktop but for the smaller one it could be the Minecraft player's face on their skin or the icon of the server they are playing on if they are playing on one.

    Invite to the game functionality could be simply to instantly join a server.

    I agree!!

    You should make it show the status (singleplayer, multiplayer) and the ip of the server!

    Also an option to join the same server if on one.

    This is a great idea! I've seen a few forge mods that add this, but it can't be particularly difficult... I've seen standalone Java applications that generate RP, and I think it would be a great addition. One thing I might add is like the Spotify integration, to allow people to join your game/realm/server, they should generate an invite link in their DMs or channels. Really great idea and I hope this gets some more votes!

    This already works for windows 10 edition, but it only tell discord "Minecraft" Nothing else, no information about server or anything

    Nice idea. Here's two cents:

    - It should NOT show IP addresses. Many plays in private servers, and they may not have whitelist in use. This could cause more harm than good.

    - About the previous one, if the IP address is public, player has a way to enable/disable is the IP address visible or not

    - If it shows what gamemode a player plays, it also would show the age of the world. If Survival, how many times died. Both single player Hardcore and Survival how many achievements the player has gained.

    - A button to join into the same server. User can enable/disable this feature

    This feature can be super helpful, having friends being able to join your worlds from discord profile can be really amazing.

    also: Minecraft server-specific RPC isn't a thing to be implemented Directly to Minecraft, rather something for Server creators to do!
