Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The Pitchfork

I feel that you should be able to craft a pitchfork.

This would be a great weapon that stabs at its foes and could attack from a farther distance than a sword. Also, you could hit animals with it and they will flee in the direction that you hit them.

This could also lead to new features with hay. Maybe hay gathers around enclosed areas with animals. The pitchfork cleans the hay.

I know this is random but I just thought it would be cool.

And maybe just to fit the seen you could craft a hay hat which can be a vanity item or maybe have a cool new buff that encourages animals to come near you.

 

The Pitchfork's left click would deal the actual damage (maybe extra to animal mobs).

The Pitchfork's right click would poke the animal causing it to flee in the direction you hit them like I previously said.

    I think that villagers can use them, if you have low reputation.

    What about drowns dropping pitchforks sometimes. That would be a real mean troll
