Shooting Stars

What if there was a chance to see a shooting star across the night sky, just to make the night seem so much more realistic and beautiful.

    We saw this in the taiga biome update trailer so it *could* be added. Or it might just be aesthetics.

    This would be a nice cosmetic touch, I could easily imagine myself building a big glass dome room and just for stargazing.

    Come to think of it, why not have constellations as well? Not quite real ones, but ones that fit the world minecraft.

    They can try to add when shooting stars happen, one might fall on the ground and gives good treasures so it is worth finding.

    Maybe these shooting stars can trigger a certain event like an astroid crashing into the world where the player hasn't explored yet so it doesn't destroy their builds.

    I think they shouldn't affect the world in any way. They should be a purely visual feature that would brighten up the skies in Minecraft.

    Shooting Stars would be cool, but imagine if they added  Star Clusters and some color into the night sky like looking into the Milky Way. the night sky right now is kinda just a black template with some yellow dots. Or even just adding Constellations (Minecraft Themed) would liven things up a bit.

    Would be cool too if sometimes shooting stars gave you a boot or something- like how dolphins give you the "dolphin's grace" effect, making you swim faster.

    Bonus! They could have the Shooting star (which in reality, are tiny meteorites burning up) point toward someplace with items. This is silly but cool to think!
