Instead of their fur, they could drop 0-1 leather or maybe even seeds, since thats what many eat. Idk, just kinda throwin that out there.

I think rodents should also live in villages by farms.

Sorry it took so long to update the page, I added quite a few things including mice, new drops, and villager interactions.

My idea is that the ocelots would try to hunt them.

My idea is that the guinea pigs would wheek in the game when they are hungry just like ones in real life.

I think shrews would also be a good idea because they eat termites and other bugs including spiders. read my suggestion to find out more detail.

I honestly love the idea, BUT i think rodent fur should be used to craft an outfit for you wolf or cat, it would be a pretty nice feature, or when the rodent dies it should sometimes just drop a "dead rodent" which you can use to tame a cat easier or feed a wolf. What do you guys think??

Fur armor could provide warmth in icy biomes?

Chewing on wood would get annoying if you made your house out of wood and a bunch of rodents kept chewing on it. I think no wood chewing should be allowed

Yolodude-I didn't think about that, I'll change it to chewing sticks you leave on the ground.

I don't really know much about guinea pigs, so I guess I just assumed they were like gerbils and weren't born with fur. I'll change this next time I add something.

guinea pigs could also be another form of food since they are a common meal in peru. another idea is adding new fruits/veggies since that's what piggies eat besides hay.

baby villagers? or baby rodents? which would lay and look up at who? why shift click to put them on your should, instead of like parrots?

    other than that, its great.

Rodents would be fantastic! I don’t think that rodent skin is necessary, though, as they are more of our pets than our prey. Still, mice, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, and so on, would be great additions to the game.

Yes Yes! Rodents are adorable! And smart. I agree with you! Rodents should also be like bees: cute but deadly

What if mice could live in blocks, like silverfish and raid your chests for food, removing it piece by piece? Maybe not have babies but the block they live in could be the "nest block" that generates a new mouse every other day or so? Adding snakes to combat this would be a cool idea as well, the fox and cats could hunot them making it more practical to keep cats in your base?

Maybe you could sometimes find rats in your house. There could be little holes in the wood planks and you could get rid of them by setting traps

I think only guinea pigs rats/mice should be added because (no offence) minecraft won't add different types of the same animal. Like there are sheep but not 5 different types of sheep.

Gerbils and hamsters are completely different, they are not in the category of rats, mice, or guinea pigs.

I think if you attack an untamed guinea pig it will attack you like a wolf because guinea pigs are the most evil creatures to walk this earth

    I think it’s a great idea.

i have pet rats and they sit on my shoulder sometimes so i think rats should sit on your shoulder too.

To make them a bit different I think rats and guinea pigs should have 3 health and attack what you attack after being tamed.

i think mice should have 2 health and attack what you attack after being tamed.

hamsters should have 2 health but don’t attack what you attack.

gerbils have 1 health and attack what you attack
