Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ore addition: Water Gem

There could be a new ore called the water jem and you can only find it under tropicial oceans and when you mine the ore it comes out as a blue pearl like jem. You would be able to make armour that can make you brethe under water and their can be differnt types of the ore. Aqua blue and light blue and they both have differnt effects when made into armour. Aqua blue armour can help the user to swim faster and burst out the water like the dolpins. The light blue armour can protect you from the rays of gurdians it could also  help the user to mine blocks much faster. both armours can let user to breathe under water as well. Thats what think would be a great addition to the aquatic update in two forms ore and armour. There could also be tools that you can make to.
