Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I wish this were a thing, but I'm not optimistic..... it would be difficult to work out the mechanics of it.

I feel like it would be quite simple because if the water hits it as a full block it would stop. I’d hit when not a full block it would go though.

Right, that sounds easy in theory, but that kind of behavior is not seen anywhere else in Minecraft. Liquids have always dealt with things a full block at a time. Sadly, my gut feeling is that this idea would actually be really difficult to add in. I do hope I'm wrong because this would be awesome to have.

The thing is, you're acting like everything else can interact with water as you describe.  Except it can't.  Waterlogging only involves source blocks, not flowing water.

Glass panes CAN be waterlogged.  They just can't interact with flowing water, like every other block.

I assume your purpose is to be able to make aquariums using glass panes instead of glass blocks?

In a panel a while ago dinner bone said it would be difficult to add water in half of a glass pane, but he didn't specify if it would or wouldn't be added, that being said though the update aquatic is practically finished.

Maybe Mojang could change the behavior of panes to act like fences or fence gates? I am not a coding expert, but fence blocks seem to have the behaviors that MuffinMaker28 wants.
