I thought it was there. Guess I must have misclicked.

    Thanks. : )

I'm not sure.  The 2x2 dark oak has such a small canopy, I almost can't imagine a single sapling dark oak tree.

The other issue is the fact that the single oak sapling will never grow can be useful for people who want to do landscaping.

I do agree that the swamp would be improved with something other than modified oak trees.  However, I think the better solution is to add more unique trees with wood types that we don't have yet.  (I have two options suggested here)

I think leaving the Dark Oak as a 2x2 only mechanic would fit it better.  What the swamp needs is its own tree, the Mangrove! :)

How about an alternative cream y light colored wood like cypress or a red wood like mahogany in swamps.

The mangrove sounds really good  I'm not sure about creamy bright woods though. I think that would kind of detract from the swamps being a dark dreary sort of place.

Come to think of it thought a mud block for swamps would be cool. Basically functions as soul sand, or alternatively just have soul sand in the swamps.

Add dead trees to the swamp and dead or discoloured lily pads.
