Minecraft save data ports

Console players should have a method or a feature to Port their save files into Minecraft PC. It was much more doable with last gen consoles using programs and other software but, now it seems impossible. I would like to play my PlayStation 4 save worlds on my computer. I think the issue here is that a PlayStation 3 save data for Minecraft is formatted as a .dat file whereas a PlayStation 4 save file is formatted a .bin file and theres no easy way to convert from .bin to .dat
