Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Tool enchantment glow

The shimmer on current enchanted items is really nice, but what if you could change the colour? In the enchantment table where you currently put lapis, you could put any dye which would be the colour of the enchantment shimmer.

    So do you mean you could use any dye as the enchanting catalyst, or do you mean that after the tool is enchanted, you put it in the table with a dye again?

    @Max I mean instead of having to use lapis. You can still use lapis for a dark blue shimmer, but to get one that looks like the one we have currently you would only use cyan dye, no lapis needed.

    I like the idea of adding a spot in the crafting table to put a die, it would give a new level to enchanted armor, such as being able to make a team of all of a certain color or something.

    I like the idea of using the smithing table.  if you make it so you don't need lapis you take away it's entire purpose in the game.  Also, you take away some of the challenge of enchanting.

    Maybe right click the enchantment table with a dye? Then, we'd need the enchantment catalyst as well. (Also, this would tint the book on top.) 

    EDIT: Replace "click an ench" with "click the ench"

    No.  I think it would be a good Idea to leave the enchantment table alone altogether.  Also I don't think it should be that cheep.  make it so you need to combine the dye with an item like dragons breath.  Then put the special dye in a crafting table with the item you want to use it on.

    Using the new drop item from the glow squid from the newest snapshot (at the time) and mixing that with a dye and your tool of choice into the ‘smithing table’ could change the enchantment glow, would be a cool new feature

    Combining dragons breath, glow ink sac and any color in the crafting table could make a color pellet which could be used in the smithing table to recolor any existing armor or tool enchantment. This update wouldn't only be visual because for example sometimes I accidentally use silk touch pickaxe to mine deepslate when I were in need of gobbled deepslate. This happens even though I have named my picks. Were the picks slightly different color I wouldn't ever need to mine my deepslate twice.
