Gyro controls (on Switch)

An option to use gyro controls would be an amazing feature. Mining would be much easier, just flick your wrist instead of using controls. Or you could use it with aiming when shooting a bow for better precision.

    I would love gyro but only on things like bows, crossbows, ender pearls, etc.

    The use of gyro for turning on control is so underrated! I programed my controller to do this on Java and it feels super natural. I can consistently beat keyboard and mouse players in pvp.

    i'm surprised this still isn't a thing, i've had the switch edition for years and i never played it longer than two hours because of how unenjoyable it is to move the camera around with stick controls, it makes fighting tideous and feels so stiff, how hard would it be to implement gyro controls so that the game can get its fluid and precise movements that it deserves back this is a genuine question!

    impulse bought mc for switch and to be honest, i'm really regretting it because it has no motion controls. shame that you can't refund eshop games. looking around feels really clunky without gyro

    I regret my purchase as the poor touch controls and lack of gyro make it such a pain to play.

    Been playing Minecraft for almost 8 years, closest we've gotten to this is touch controls on PE.this would be amazing for console players for PVP, building, and even just navigating, the precision that motion controls would bring would be monumental for bedrock edition. From a long-time fan, please add this.

    Yeah give us gyro controls! Fortnite rolled it out years ago, it would be an amazing quality of life change for controller users

    Not only on Switch, this would be useful on all platforms that support controllers. The main reason I've stuck to keyboard controls, even when I first played with a controller, is because joystick aim is so much less smooth and precise than mouse/gyro. Mojang I'm begging you add this!

    I find console Minecraft to be unplayable due to the controls. If gyro aiming support were added to Bedrock, I would buy Minecraft on my Switch just because of that.

    It's so strange that this feature isn't implemented yet... Sometimes I find myself trying to twist my wrist to look around, than I realize this natural function is not available in Minecraft, specially on Switch. VOTED!!

    I bought Minecraft on the Switch, but the lack of motion controls made me request a refund. It was a very frustrating experience; I tried moving my hand with the right joy-con, but the camera wouldn't move. This feature is too important!

    After experiencing the precision of gyro aiming in Doom Eternal, Crysis, Splatoon, Bright Memory, and so many other games, it’s hard to go back.

    I play on Nintendo Switch, and recently, I started playing Minecraft. Whether I’m aiming with a bow or just moving around, I keep feeling like I should be able to tilt my controller to adjust my aim. Using gyro in combination with thumbsticks makes aiming so much smoother and more intuitive (and even more fun for me). I even checked the settings, hoping to find the option, but nothing...

    It would be amazing if they implemented this!
