Minecraft (Bedrock) Switch touch controls

I'd really like to have touch controls on Minecraft for Switch.

Even Windows 10 has a function to play witch touch when using a windows tablet.

On Switch, you can even navigate trough the menu by touching the screen.

So why not add touch to the whole game.

    I honestly expected touch controls would be an option at launch, since it's already in other versions. Maybe I shouldn't use my switch like a tablet, but I want that choice.

    We can use the touch keyboard on the screen already. Quite honestly, I'm surprised we can't use touch controls outside the menus.

    I’ve noticed you can select stuff in your hotbar with touch controls, at least.

    It does make alot of sense, if you haven't experienced joy-con drift and had it mess up your play experience then you probably havent owned a switch for too long. touch controls should at the very least be an option.

    Not sure if this does anything but in Touch controls, there is an option to turn off Torch only affects Hobart. It’s there on other bedrock platforms.

    The only reason I agree is cause I've been dealing with drifting really really bad lately and has gotten me killed ingame a few times so a touchscreen option like pocket edition would really help

    I've been wondering why the Switch version doesn't have an option to use touch controls, like on a phone. The Switch version is the perfect platform to have touch controls. I don't know why Mojang couldn't implement it.

    Using a resource pack you can enable touch controls in the menu and they stay permanently enabled

    I got a glitch that showed the joystick (MCPE joystick) when clicking on the screen but it didn't work but I think it's patched

    Yes Please add this!  My Joycons are really glitchy somtimes so i would like smth like this as a backup.
