Cable and gondola

A cable block that places like string but connects uphill and downhill like rail, and a minecart variant (gondola) that rides underneath it, using either powered cable like powered rail, or require the gondola to be crafted with a redstone block in the recipe. It should have a control interface with three buttons, forward, stop, and reverse. This would make for a nice arial tour without ruining the look of the landscape with whatever block you use to put elevated track on.
