Named hostile mobs don't despawn in Peaceful mode

    I like that idea.  That is a sad mistake any player could make with the absence of a reasonable feature like this.

    I would never want to switch to Peaceful mode in my survival worlds - I consider it cheating - but for those that would want to, this sounds like a nightmare. I find it hard to believe things don't work this way already; if you had asked me if this was the way things worked before I'd read your post, I would have guessed that it was.

    I know it's something people are always paranoid about.  And I just verified it after reading your post.  Named a creeper, went to peaceful, creeper gone.  I probably should have done that before posting, but I guess people are paranoid about it for a reason. x3

    Is there a way to lock the game in a certain difficulty permanently?
    If permanent named mobs are not added to the game I need a way to prevent switching to peaceful accidentally

    We must switch to peaceful mode quite often on bedrock edition (Xbox One as server and 1 player and Windows 10 with 2 other players). On one second only. The reason is a bug that any mobs aren't spawning after some time. For example when we visit our village with much villagers and animals, spawning of hostile mobs stopping until we restart it by switch to peace mode and back to normal.
    Then our ender farm dont works - either endermans are not spawning or endermite is despawn.
    Named mobs should stay live in peaceful mode!
