The name "waterlogged" eliminates the blocks' potentials to co-exist with other blocks such as lava and snow. How can a simple true/false arguement cover all these possibilities? I think the [submergedin=air|water|lava|snow] tag should replace this hastily made junk.
Here's what the options represent.
- [submergedin=air]: A replacement for [waterlogged=false]. This state is when a non-full block doesn't have anything sharing its area.
- [submergedin=water]: A replacement for [waterlogged=true]. This state is when the block is underwater.
- [submergedin=lava]: This state is when the block is in the lava. Just like water, only the source block will be allowed.
- [submergedin=snow]: With this tag, plants and fences will no longer prevent snow from falling onto the block area, making snowy areas infinitely better. Similar to the other options, only the snow layer of 1 is allowed, however, snow can sit on top of half slabs, the lower faces of upright stairs, in between horizontal fence posts, and on top of turtle eggs. The snow layer block would also have additional block states to match the stair changes.
