You know how there's a chiseled variant for Sandstone? What if we could make chiseled variants of multiple things?
First, we need a chisel.
It comes in all variants, from wood to diamond, and instead of creating chiseled variants with slabs, we just use the chisel. You can craft it with one stick and your choice from wood - diamond.
So, we have a nice little gold block. We can take the chisel to it to make Chiseled Gold. Maybe some money pattern, or an arrow or something would be on it.
This may seem a bit crazy to you, so we're just going to limit it to types of stone blocks, (Yes, prismarine.) and Ore Blocks.

Well, I can improve your idea. With the 1.14, we now have more block ideas. For that reason, i'm presenting this suggestion:
Add the Chiseler Station, a new Block that let us to make more chiseled versions of every stone and stone-like block.
a) Why add it?:
Adding it would increase the posibilities of building. Chisled things always have been pretty good and beautiful, and adding more variations could make better Houses, Castles, Cities, Villages, and even more.
b) How we would craft it?:
With the newest 1.16, we have new Blocks, and the Crafting Recipe of this block would consist of the next elements: 4 Chiseled Stone Bricks, 1 Redstone Dust, 3 Iron Ingots and 1 Netherite Scrap.
c) How look the block?:
Well, I don't have idea of how it should look. But There is an old texture wich can be used for this block. Even it fit the essence of Chiseling:
d) How would look its GUI/UI (User Interface)?:
Well, for this I've taken inspiration of the stonecutter GUI and Improved it to look good. Also, the saw should be animated.
