Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Better hopper?

I would love to - instead of changing the "speed" of the hopper - being able to change the stack size a hopper transports per tick. Currently it only transports 1/64 per tick. This means 64 times more the calculation (and lag) in order to transport one stack than necessary.

Better hoppers should also include filtering, not only should they be faster but the option to choose what items filter through them would be great for item sorters and farms that produce multiple items.
For instance, adding a menu when clicking a hopper for which you can specify the speed it moves items. For the filtering add a button “lock” to hold items whilst you put one of every item you wish to be sorted then when items pass through it will only detect the items specified leaving only the one you automatically put in, if you clicked “lock” again it would shoot the item you put in into the chest and would function as a normal hopper.
I think this would also be a great add on to the hopper as it will help Average redstone players to sort items considering there is already an item management crisis in the game. It isn’t overpowered too because you would still need atleast one of the item you’re trying to sort to be able to activate the filter system.
It also adds more features to the hopper.
