Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I think a block breaker should be crafted with a pic surrounded by cobblestone; while the block placer should be a piston surrounded by cobblestone.

This and entities eating dropped items would finally automate mine-craft. Hope it gets added.

As long as the block placer can place seeds, you have my vote!!!

I think this idea is very good and definitely deserves more attention. I think the block breaker and placer would work best as blocks of their own. I like the idea of the block breaker using a tool given to it to break the blocks, so it takes time to break a block (instead of being instant) and it also affects the tool durability, so I think it is not overpowered. The block breaker and block placer would allow us to make our farms more automatic and we wouldn't have to rely on silly bugs like TNT duplication.

Upvoting this for dispensers to place blocks (more than just the command block)

Honestly, I'd be happy to just have dispensers use picks/blocks instead of throwing them. It would still have durability, and it could only break blocks that the tool they have is made for to keep power creep down. Then there's the fact that dispensers are immovable, which I would like changed, but would also keep it from being op.

If this is implemented the block placer should be compatible with saplings

Block placers would be great and make many redstone systems easier, I think it would be better to be a different block than a dispenser cause some systems use dispensers to throw items far away, imagine these systems placing their blocks instead of throwing, absolute mess.

When I first saw this idea, I thought this would be a great mod idea, but then I thought, this would really help in my vanilla experience, like making an automatic obsidian farm, without you having to mine the obsidian platform in the end every time. So, as long as a breaker can make an afk-able obsidian farm, it's my vote!

Ooo! I like the cobblestone around pic idea for the breaker, but what kind of pic? Also, a dispenser doesn't do anything with blocks, when dispensed, it just stays in the dispenser, unless it's TNT or something, TNT gets placed and explodes. So I was thinking, a dispenser could just be a placer, except when making a TNT castle, it's gonna blow up, but who builds with TNT often? And... Maybe if you put a pic inside of the dispenser, it can break blocks until the pick has no more duarbility!

Yes! I recently wanted to make a cake-replacing system and this would accomplish that in vanilla.

I think that the "digger block" would be like a piston but on the head will be like a drill and it can work with redstone and would be moved with pistons and slime blocks. That would help by a lot to minecraft technique and stop using TNT duplicators of empty chunks. Sorry for my bad english :/

Maybe it can be made of copper for another use?

This cannot be a tile entity. Please, even though I play mostly bedrock with movable tile entities, and the Java carpet mod exists, it would be cool to have an auto bridge flying machine. You could even make an auto planter for a farm as villagers are hard to transport! I was thinking that the crafting recipe would include the chiseled deepslate block, as it looks exactly like a redstone component.

This is an idea I’ve thought of too!

I was trying to build a cool falling gravel door. Got the gravel to fall with pistons, but I have to manually place the blocks back :(. The Redstone community ask been asking for this forever.

My poor bother is having to use command blocks due to the breakage of redstone. This would all be fixed with this simple device
