    - Koalas spawn in the outback trees (sub-biome of savannah) and there is a 10% chance of them spawning as drop bears with red eyes and are hostile mobs that drop out of the trees. Can be tamed with leaves and once tamed will climb onto back and add extra inventory. Once killed they may drop nothing but there is a small chance that they drop something rare. Could maybe drop leather or wool/fur and meat. spawn in trees in groups of 1-4.

    It is a very good idea the koalas, it would be great if they were generated in the savanna and jungle biomes, that some of them had their young on their back and that the eucalyptus plant or tree was implemented, as well as perhaps the eucalyptus It can be generated in some jungle and savanna trees, it would also be great if each koala had a different behavior and also that somehow we can tame the koalas.

    Koala’s that live in wooded areas like a forest, would be amazing to see, seem koala 🐨 may be classed as nearly extinct due to the bush fires, so maybe eucalyptus leaves could be introduced for them.

    I think it would be coolest if these were the behaviors(most of these ideas are taken from other comments):
    -Koalas spawn in the outback, and they are friendly
    -They carry their offspring, and climb onto trees
    -They can be tamed with eucalyptus leaves, a new plant that could be found in the outback

    -Pet koalas don't carry offspring
    -To breed them, use normal grass
    -Can climb onto your back, but jump when you want them to let go. They can also be sat down
    -they yell when there are spiders and cave spiders nearby, causing the spiders to run away

    Edit: The eucalyptus plant would be a new tree, and its leaves would drop eucalyptus leaves when using shears, which would act as a block and a way to tame koalas, and the tree would have eucalyptus wood, which would have a slight reddish brown tint(kinda rustic looking)

    Koala is cute and cool but doesn't belong in savanna. Savannah is representing Africa savanna. There would need to be an Australian outback biome, which I could support. There could be kangaroos and dingos and koalas, wombats, and Tasmanian tigers. Possibly lump the Tasmanian devil into it too along with emus and kiwi birds

    they could be a mob for the savanna and would be in an update with the ostrich,termites and baobab tree  they would attack if you come close but could be calmed with a new type of fruit that would only be found in the new savanna or that is what I hope they do if they add them but if they don't like koalas them they could be swapped out for monkey or sloth but the others would be passive or neutral for monkeys

    I think koalas do better in the jungle. eucalyptus freight could also be invented.
