When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Colored Redstone lamps

Colored Redstonelamps. They emit their color.

I've heard its really hard to do that but, there are even mods of it, so I think mojang will be able to do this.

I believe in you, mojang just dont give up

I like color

and freedom

    A better way to implement this is instead of the block itself being dyed, the player would use stained around a light source to change the color. And this would mean it would work for all light source blocks.

    I know that it has been almost 6 years since this post was made, but I really want this as a vanilla feature in the game. I have a few suggestions:

    • Make it so that you can dye them via right clicking on one with a dye or using a crafting table.
    • They produce colored light.
    • They can pass/transfer power like normal redstone lamps.

    Actually, you can kind of. All you have to do is place item frames on all sides that are visible on the redstone lamp, and then put colored maps on them. Put the entire lamp and maps inside of a tinted glass chamber, and you are done. Just power the lamp.

    There should be two redstone lamp variants: Redstone Lamp and Colored Redstone Lamp. The regular one would be the same as the existing one, and the colored one would change color depending on signal strength. This would allow for colored displays as well.

    It has been 7 years.We still haven't seen colored redstone lamps yet.Why have mojang not added the colored redstone lamps???
