    Dust, smoke and glowing could make a really nice spawning animation.

    I don't like this idea, first, in big servers there would be a huge chance of glitch. Second, anyway mobs spawn far from you so you wouldn't even notice.

    I have an idea: What if it makes not normal mobs, but mobs that the player spawns in or mobs that appear from a spawner have this effect.
    This would help the survival games servers and the effect would still be in the game and cool to watch when you spawn your first golem.

    @ Henrik Mittelholzer : Good idea you got there. Indeed would be better to apply this effect only to mobs spawning from spawners or manually (eggs, blocks). Specially for spawners, it would be less sudden but more magic and nice.

    I think the "blip" is a nice, quirky part of Minecraft's character that should be kept.  However, I agree with some of your reasoning.  I think this should be a configurable visual effect in the menu, with maybe different levels of how many flashes or effects you see upon spawns, that way it can't be too dull or overstimulating based upon a player's liking (none, minimal, default, high).

    I like this, but I'm pretty sure mobs (outside of spawners) only spawn when you load a chunk, and possibly in a chunk you've already loaded when you're not looking.

    Yes I was the 100th vote and it’s a very good idea to add this in the game because I’ve literally seen a zombie appear 3 blocks away from me

    Please add the particles but don't make them rise from the ground

    The dead shall rise. 🧟 💀

    Otherwise all the mobs will seem like they can teleport and the enderman won't be special.

    Yeah, Like when they die they poof into smoke but they should be the other way around

    Like the idea... different graphics for different mobs. Also, a spawning sound such as a whoosh, crackle, or pop, or even just a simple synthesizer blip.

    How about a simple "pop" sound that occurs within a specific radius whenever a mob spawns
