Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Glass/stained glass stairs

Can you please add glass stairs including stained glass variants? We have an array of stairs to choose from but there are NO glass or stained glass stairs. I'm building an access tunnel leading from one side of my rail system to the other and think it would be perfect to put glass stairs in.

    these would be perfect for bridges! you could make a glass bridge like the real one in Italy, or at least the original planned look of it.

    I've been wanting to see glass stairs as well, including the stained glass. A great idea! Plus, I also like the glass trapdoor idea.

    i like that idea because im building a castle and it would look alot better with glass/stained glass stairs for the top of the lookout post

    IKR!!! They give us these terracotta monstrosities, we have stained concrete AND clay, but no glass stairs?! Crazy.

    I like the idea of glass stairs too, it would massively change the glass builds that are about just now and even stained glass stairs... yeh it sounds good.

    Could do with toughened glass pane that can be used normally for windows or be placed flat like floors etc, maybe they could resist ghast explosions as well but I'm not sure on that. The recipe would need to be something like. 4 glass panes = 2 toughened glass panes.
    It could even be done with blocks just to have the blast resistance. Maybe it cracks after 1 blast and then 2 or 3 it shatters? .

    With the way stairs are currently implemented, I imagine it would be very difficult to implement glass stairs in a way that is aesthetically pleasing.

    If your roof has a slope to it, you can’t have a good looking skylight. If you want to make a sharper looking glass dome, you’re out of luck. I have several mob spawner farms with glass floors (so I can watch them get swept up and troubleshoot), and I’d love to put glass stairs in the access tunnels.

    This wouldn’t be for your average build, but I have often thought about this while I was getting fancy with things.

    I think glass and stained glass stairs and slabs would be an excellent addition to the game. We have like 12 different types of plain grey stone for Pete’s sake!

    Glass stairs/slabs (maybe in the future even doors) could be made in Glass Cutter station, it would look awesome especially in RTX (talking about the glass of course).

    Different glass blocks, like stairs, walls and slabs would be very useful. I would also like to see cracked variants, liked cracked glass panes.

    I would really love to see glass slabs, trapdoors, and stairs. This sort of block would definitely help my builds look cleaner!

    I've been asking for glass stairs for many years. You build a glass house and the stone stairs doesn't look right. Need glass stairs. Every block should have a stair option.
