Maybe you could get burned wood in that biome and if you step in it it breaks with some dust particles

Sería un detalle que las herramientas encontradas en las chozas tuvieran poca durabilidad.

And the trees could appear anywhere every now and then but a whole Forrest mabye if you added a mob(called the rot) that would be the cause that makes trees like that so it'd be more realistic but other than that AWESOME!!!!!!

Adding to my earlier idea what if the cabin belonged to evokers, piligers, and vindicaters and they hate the rot for ruining their settlements it could liven up you biome like a turf war XD

Alongside a volcano, would set the scene a lot better.

This is a great idea! Dead wood could be taken from these dead forests and would add a lot more to Minecraft building. If you want a place to look dead and lifeless and you don’t have access to acacia wood, oak wood won’t do. Dead wood in all wood types would be a great addition to the game.

Great idea it would be cool if the wolves in the forest were always hostile and angry and if you get too close the packs will come after you. maybe this could be the home of phantoms, because it would be darker in that biome

    Suggestions:

    • Maybe there's podzol on the ground to look like dead leaves
    • Clumps of mossy cobble like in tall taiga biomes
    • Spider nests with a spawner and cobwebs around and maybe a chest (I wouldn't worry about the abundance of spawners and people creating farms as spider farms are usually pretty weak)

Nice idea, I'd love to see this!

Dead grass would be a nice addition too; It could work as a colour variant or its own block (much like podzol or mycelium). Dead shrubs would do well in this biome as well, though I'd like to see them change their colour to match the surroundings.

maybe make it so that instead of dropping normal wood, it drops dead wood, (and has a 100% chance of dropping) which is basically a desaturated versions of the normal wood blocks, planks and other versions of the normal wood blocks. you can normally create these by chopping down part of a normal tree and leaving some logs floating or burning it. its functionalities would stop at being a decoration block and would be worse for using as a source of heat in a furnace. usually in vanilla Minecraft, put fire on any type of wood (except crimson and warped wood) it gets destroyed/breaks without a drop, but now instead of just breaking it turns into dead wood(or burnt wood if you want to call it that) and if you light it aflame again, it will be destroyed. you can still use stripped/normal logs, wood and other variants because the player placed/created them. breaking/placing the dead/burnt wood would cause ash particles to spawn around it. this new biome could be used to show the problem/danger/devastation of forest fires and global warming.

What if there would be a hihger change of a zombie village to spawn, also maybe rusted armor and weapons that you can smelt for iron or something like that.

It could have a hazy grey fog and particle effect, plus some dehydrated dirt. I love the idea, but another angle of perspective is that you have to think about how the forest died. Fire with burned-out cabins, haunted With haunted houses, etc

Would be great to also give it an atmospheric fog! And maybe some skeletons, bats, witches, new creepy mobs, and an owl too! I think it would add a creepy aesthetic to minecraft.

I'm imagining an ashy, desolate forest biome that is devoid of color and vibrance. Mobs could spawn as skeleton variants here. The dead wood blocks might burn faster than normal due to their dry and dead nature.

In this forest new zombies could spawn, for example called biter. These zombies can sprint and do more harm than conventional zombies, these zombies are very aggressive and spawn in hordes

The logs or wood for the trees could be the grey version of oak or other things, mobs could be a new zombie. These blocks could be flammable and burn away very fast, they could have ashes in the air. it is practically the same as a basalt biome in the nether but in the over world, it would be easier to experience.

Realistically, we would see a color gradient change for grass blocks and grass entities to a more pallid color, even moreso than deserts, mixed in with coarse dirt, terracotta or gravel. The dead tree would be a new type of tree that generates in the biome. Ideally it would be renewable somehow. The wood itself would be a silvery greyish color. The bark would have a kind of shabby, mottled, dilapidated look (making it useful in builds wherea tree or forests look damaged or dying). The result would be a single set of a new wood type, keeping things simple. Water in this biome could have a sickly looking color. Cobwebs could be found generating on occasion. I think because its dry it can be classified as a hot biome, and would compliment deserts and especially mesas, and could even include fossils. There is plenty of room for new flora and mobs that are idiosyncratic to Minecraft here, as well as a structure. The game could certainly use unique biomes that are evil/creepy looking in the Overworld. Would make for a great halloween theme, or another home for witches or a new mob. In the future, if they add 3D biomes, the caves underneath would have some interesting options. Overall a great idea.

I think the wolves should have a different fur texture and look ruffer (with red eyes at night and green in the day). They should still be able to be tamed. If you tame them, they would look nicer but with the same fur color (maybe a little lighter)

    But overall I think it's a great idea. :)
