Armor Set Bonus

Add a little bonus when a player is wearing a full set of one type of armor.

exemple:

Diamond Helmet + Diamond Legging + Diamond Boots + Diamond Chestplate = +1 attack damage with any weapon / tool

    I dislike this idea; armor in Minecraft is too linear as it is. What I mean by that is that there is no real reason to pick anything other than full diamond armor, because it is the best armor type in practically every way. What you are proposing would make it even worse.

    Some people don't wear chestplate for exemple, to have Elytra then the bonus will be gone.

    It shouldn't give a bonus, maybe new armor types would be better.

    I think thats a cool idea. It could actualy give purpose to other armors like example full leather armor could give you speed bonus and jump bonus and stuff and full gold armor could give you trade bonuses with villagers and enchantment bonuses at the enchant table or something. i dont know just an idea.

    how about a new command option when using / give to set armor that when wearing any armor with the same tag or something like that it gives you abilities like flight and maybe even specific command permissions

    this would allow more armor customization

    something like this

    /give (player) minecraft:diamond_chestplate {Bonus{"(tag/name)",(bonus/bonuses)}

    also im not the best with commands so i don't know if this command makes sense or if this is how it would be made
