Butterflies

I think it would be nice to have butterflies in Minecraft. They could flutter around the overworld and fly towards and sit on flowers. They could come in the 16 wool colours and could fly in pairs. Only one butterfly would sit on little flowers (azure, poppy, dandelion etc.) and up to 4 butterflies would sit on larger flowers (rose bushes, peonies, lilac bushes etc.) They could also follow a player if they are holding any kind of flower. They could spawn most in flower forests and their spawn egg could be pink and magenta.

    I love this! Yes! Maybe they could produce silk, which could be used to make nets! And if you use one net and one silk, you can have a butterfly net- but the net could also be used for other things!

    The butterflies could also pollonate like bees do and if you kill the butterflies you get dye or something.

    I Like this Idea, It Would Be Great to have More Mobs for the Fields And Forests. And them coming in Different Colors Is Amazing! I Hope Will Get Considered. :D

    Yeah, They Can Actually Make The Flower Forests a lot more beautiful . There could be some butterflies that glow at night the same way glow squids glow 🌟.

    I think there should be a few unique butterfly types like the monarch, blue copper, etc. with a “tropical butterfly” that has a few patterns that have infinite color variations. They vary in size of a quarter of a block, to a full block. I think butterflies should usually drop nothing, but have a chance to drop 1 ore, or rotten flesh rarely.

    I think they should be the same size as phantoms so they'll be more visually interesting. They should exist in all Overworld biomes; rarely in deserts, badlands, and most commonly in flower forests.

    I would get on my knees and beg somebody to put butterflies, dragonflies, and moths into Minecraft. At the very least butterflies, it would add so much possibility to Minecraft. I so desperately want to build a butterfly garden.

    Perfect idea! We should also have a way to catch them (frame them if wanted for decor or whatever). Also a greenhouse!

    Mojang doesn't seem to want to add purely ambient mobs, with bats being the only ones currently, but these would be nice and unobtrusive, since they are so small. They could probably reuse bat behavior for the most part.

    They could undergo a life cycle similar to frogs, where they start out as caterpillars and then make cocoons and go into them, and then come out as a butterfly! Perhaps if you hit a cocoon it would drop string.

    I think this would be good as particles like the fireflies? Or they can be ambiance mobs like bats but they spawn in meadows and flower forests

    If added, Butterflies (or Flutterbys) should use the same multi-color scheme as tropical fish, so that no two appear the same.

    quickly Minecraft can you add the butterflies and the butterfly net and make the butterflies spawn in lush caves mangrove swamps pale garden other forest biomes and make sure there is a nether butterfly variant that are also going to be passive towards players also make sure the over world butterflies and nether butterflies are a passive both types of butterfly mobs okay
