How about just add the commands to bedrock . Java does t really need any bedrock commands.

We should definitely have the java commands on bedrock as it would allow bedrock map makers to build and design many more greater builds and be able to share it with the world easier through cross-play. It would keep minecraft evolving.

I believe this would be great for many reasons one is when I am trying to make maps I like to use commands, but some of these commands that are available in java edition are not compatible with bedrock. I believe this is a great error on the developers' side to do this. Thus we should be able to use java edition commands in bedrock edition.

This would be amazing. As a map maker on Bedrock Edition it's extremely frustrating not being able to use commands that are on Java. For example NBT tags for mob size and whether AI is on or not would be great for building themed areas with mobs in, opening up many opportunities that Java players have while Bedrock players don't. This is very annoying as it feels as though a significant portion of players' creativity is being stifled just because they own a console and not a pc.

Whilst your idea is wonderful, a toggle means that the devs have to maintain TWO sets of code which is non-efficient and a waste of resources. Better would be to have identical commands across both platforms and even BETTER would be just one game across ALL platforms avoiding parity issues and matching mechanics across both codebases....

The bedrock edition of minecraft is made in an entirely different programming language and reads text differently. To do that, they have to change the way computers read files which can be tedious!

Bedrock edition commands used to be easy to use, now we have to use Java edition commands, which are way more complicated and difficult to use, instead of what bedrock players are used too! Mojang needs to make this a toggleable feature.
