Left-hand setting

A setting to make your left hand the main hand (because Minecraft cares about left handed people)

    It's 2023 and there's no option to make our character left handed?! If it can be done in Java then it can be done in Bedrock!

    The new update added default skins to include everybody, they should do this too.

    Thank you! Somebody understands! I keep thinking I have nothing in my hand; making it so my character is lefty will fix this problem. It's so weird to see my items in my non-dominant hand!

    Well, it seems that they don't care about left-handed people because the just recently removed left-handed mode for the touch controls. And I'm not even sure how am I supposed to play now?

    Gosh this post was years ago and I'm pretty sure it's still not a thing in bedrock. I've been playing Minecraft for over a decade and I'm still checking every update.

    The game felt so much more personal once the Alex option was added, but even if I can swap the buttons having the wrong hand of the character moving when I break blocks still feels awkward and uncomfortable.


    I could go to the marketplace and buy a bunch of crazy skins, items, features, and worlds but I can't find anything that would let me hold tools with my left as my main.

    I just want a world I can play normally in with my sister so we can get achievements together. I've been waiting since way back when I was making nether reactor cores with her and fighting pigs with a sword on the wrong side. It wouldn't even need to be in the official vanilla default if that's too hard to make, I'm even willing to go tot the marketplace to get it as an add on or whatever. I just want an official way to stop the game from feeling wrong on our world

    I'm left handed I just want to see what it looks like to use it in-game on bedrock, it could even just be a visual aesthetic change, even if the offhand is switched it doesn't need to be more functional, yet.
    but it should still be a thing! please add it.

    I try to map the joy sticks to left handed but instead of being mapped it's just moves the settings options. It would be nice to see a mapping interface like the on used for the eden emulator.
