Cow, pig, chicken variations (was: New Animal Variations)

I think it would be a cool idea to have more animal varients. Cows could have a black and white varient, we could have more wolf varients depending on the biome your in like a desert wolf, snow wolf, etc.

Next we could have new pig varients like a brown pigs, black pigs, spotted pigs, and white pigs.

Same with chickens, black chickens, brown chickens, and could drop the appropriate feather color.

    A duck that swims is everything I've ever wanted. I know there's a mod somewhere, but I still haven't figured out how all that works...

    I get that Minecraft mobs are iconic but all new mobs are getting colour variants; the axolotls and (upcoming) frogs. I was surprised goats didn't get a black of brown variant.

    The classic skins can be common but different animal variations could be rare occurrences. This would not break the game to implement and would create fun stories. I'd love to name my chickens and not need to walk over to see which is which using their name tag.

    Personally I think the cow and chicken should have variations, but after seeing pig variations in some resource packs, I'm convinced that the normal pink colored pig should be the only pig variant.

    I agree. If there are cat and axolotl variants, there should be more for pigs and cows.

    Pigs covered with mud, with dots... Cows of diferent colours, with one horn... White, brown chickens...

    So many of the new mobs have different variants, so it's only fair the older mobs get some too.

    I think the chicken's drop variable color should stay the same though, even if it doesn't match, it doesn't seem necessary without more purposes to it. Brown chickens have some white feathers at least.

    I think i  swamps pigs should be muddy, in villages there is a 50% chance that a red cow spawns and no idea for the chicken

    Minecraft Earth had this feature, but unfortunately, that game and all the cool ideas it had are lost. It would be wise for Mojang to port these features to the base game to preserve the creativity of the developers. This would be a good start.

    Exactly what i was thinking. Horses and cats have a lot of pretty skin variations, the other animals need some as well!

    I think there would be more variations of the animals that are peaceful like the comment said but I'd find it more curious if they added new animations for the old animals that are in Minecraft, because recently as we can see the new mobs like the [Warden with the sniff animation and walk and the camel with his chillin' animation] they have a lot more life in the field of expression and animation energy. And after this said a lot of mobs would need a review of their animation like The Zombie or the Skeleton,I think that I went out of the original feed Idea to complain about the field of more variation for animals I think there needs to be too more variation for zombies for example, because any zombie has the same clothes and face as another, maybe the skeletons yes but the zombies no.
