What if players could create their own structures to randomly generate into the world? Imagine what adventurers would find out there in the unknown.
With recipe and achievement customization moving to JSON, why not customize structures? Players could create individual JSON files for each structure that would specify the dimension, biome, floorplan, and all other specifications needed to generate that structure randomly in the environment.
Mojang, make the community work for you! You could have the community submit new ideas for all kinds of structures (in the form of completed JSON files) and add those most worthy of this beloved game.
Creators would be able to transfer their creations to survival maps. Players could import structures from community creators and explore entirely new environments (and maybe new stories). The creativity of the community would be further unlocked for the benefit of all.
