controller support on java edition

After the legacy console edition of minecraft was replaced with the bedrock edition, many players just hated it. Since it was so similar to the java edition, adding controller support exctly like the one in that version to java edition "wood" be incredible

    Please add controller support. Mapping keys makes playing the game less enjoyable and with a lot of handheld devices coming out with controllers built in assign native support feels like the next major move for Java.

    It drives me so nuts that Hytale added native controller support in 6 months before even adding any new content while Minecraft hasn't added native controller support in 15 years. Java being PC exclusive is not an excuse. You have an ARM port and ARM handhelds are getting very popular, please add controller support.
