    Im waiting for the cave update and i have ideas like these;

    - Ruby Ores.

    - boss mobs near the spawners

    - Icy caves

    - Magma caves

    - Hot Stones (like when the stone is near to lava the stone will be hot and give us damage.)

    - Stalactiles.

    - Bats Private Caves (and please update bats)

    - more featured villager mines.

    - Underwater caves (like there will be water in the caves)

    - more deep world (like its finish at 0 but i think it can go like -1 , -2 , -3, etc.)

    - New texture for Spider (and please make spiders a little bit small)

    - New Texture for Lava.

    - New Texture for Water.

    - New Texture for Bats.

    - Underground treasures.

    - Undertale Mash-up (please)

These all needs a very big work but i think you can do it! ;)

Personally. I think that this update should involve many more tools, such as better pickaxes, also and update to emeralds they need more uses other than trading. We should also update all the mine-shafts and mob spawners. More ores, like copper, uranium, sapphires, rubies, etc.. More armor, with quirks would be cool tool. There is a lot that really needs to be added into the game and the developers have really been lacking.

I would like to see minerals such as: ruby, amethyst and maybe some shiny stone with an insect inside with which one can negotiate with the villagers...

Minecraft is gonna do a lot more stuff with mushrooms like in the nether so I think you should do some sort of underground mushroom biome. Maybe with glowing mushrooms or some type of creature that glows to provide a purple blueish light. Or you could also make caverns that have nether portals and it looks like it’s been sort of taken over by the nether with piglins and other nether creatures. Big mushrooms in caves and maybe some sort of enchanted underground forest with giant mushrooms and glow worms and glowing mushrooms maybe with little mushroom creatures like goblins or elves

You should make torches emit light when your holding them or make a special type of torch where you can do that

I agree with the cave update!!!!

Minecraft is about mining and adventure and such more things which the devs have updated imroved and added to

but there needs to be more excitement to mining rather than just mine and thats it, i would love there to be abandoned houses from 1000s of years ago and maybe some new ores like copper, ruby, zinc, lead, etc.

Also stalegmites and stalegtites would add a more realistic feel to minecraft and have a purpose to maybe live in a cave underground as a base!!!

I was thinking that the maximum depth be alot deeper, and as you go deeper, there would be certain new dungeons that contain loot that allow you to go deeper (such as a mining ring). Maybe a system like pressure damage when you go too deep without the right gear. I'd like to have new structures, like a spider boss in a labyrinth of cobweb like blocks, and an abandoned enderman worshiping cult that have become crazy enderman like monsters, the possibilities are endless

I would also have the end game item when beating the ender dragon be a ring that allows you to survive the void in the overworld (bedrock is breakable, but the void kills you otherwise) and as you have all of the endgame gear, you drop and drop under the world until you make it to the ender king, a gargantuant Ender dragon that you must fight in order to access a room full of portals like in minecraft story mode (not as many). The portals in the room would be unbreakable and it would function as a form of new game plus. Stepping into one would generate a new world with altered gravity and spawn conditions. In the portal room would also be a portal back to the overworld so that you can resume the game you were playing. I have a world of a lot more suggestions, but that's all I have time for today. Bye

I would like to see the mythical "rake" as an added mob in whatever cave update comes, as well as a second kind of bat. A bigger one, maybe rabid vampire bat or something. And cave snakes. We who are terrified of spiders have to deal with those, why not hit on those who have a fear of snakes as well? :)

    Troll Village

A new kind of village but wait those aren't normal villagers in fact they don't even look like humans!

The trolls can spawn in different colors and have the health around 10 hearts. They could be decided to be neutral towards players or always attack players and have a chance to steal a random item. Then to obtain the item they stole back you kill them. They can have trolls that live peacefully and then have little troll guards to protect the village.

How They Would Interact With Mobs

A troll can maybe ride a spider and use it against you. They could run away from a creeper because they fear being blown up (Although the creeper is friendly towards anything but the player... and cats) Bats could help them fly around in the caves to get an advantage when trying to fight the player.

    What Could The Village Contain??

The trolls have chest stored in their little huts. What's inside that chest? Well not high tier loot but maybe useful items like name tags, saddles, maybe iron tools, food, etc.

    Tameable?

This one is up to the devs because the troll could work as a mini companion and help you store extra loot on mining adventures. They might not be able to fight unless you give them a good set of troll armor and sword. Use gold or another mineral to tame the troll

    New items

    • Troll armor
    • Troll weapons? (Like daggers)
    • Troll meat... Ew not to eat of course but for potion making.
    • Potion of poison recipe. A new way to obtain another harmful potion.

A cave update is necessary, i hate exploring the caves in the game because it's really boring and i always get lost

They can take some inspiration from the many mods that improves caves, quark is an awesome example

    It sounds great!
Maybe with the new nether update coming up mojang could use that to add more ores, they already do that with the new snapshot so personally, i don't think minecraft needs just a bunch of new ores to the game, but maybe do more terrain changing like what you did with the nether, maybe mojang could make the caves look cooler and maybe they can even add cave biome, just think of the possibilities!
We all know the update will eventually come, but if that means that we have to wait to get the best update we can get i will prefer waiting, well see...

We need more ores and crystals. Also gold is useless, i don't mind how soft gold is in real life, it's a video game, i personally think gold should be better than iron but worse than diamond and the new netherite. New ores could be copper, , silver, platinum, cobalt, titanium. (basically terraria ores lol). also why was the ruby never added, we need ruby.

Add a potion that can track down ores. When you drink it and you're in a 20 block radius of an ore, there will be particles that's the same color as the nearest ore and the particles will fall out of blocks that you need to mine to get to the ore. Think of the particles like a checkpoint and you're going to each checkpoint until you hit the finish line.

    A Rewarding Cave Progression System

Instead of just adding new items and ores into the game, I think it would be awesome to see if we can bring a different aspect into the world of Minecraft. In the Overworld, you can spawn anywhere and be equally challenged in each biome. However, once you become stronger and more equipped, you will start to venture off and create the Nether portal which will give you access to a new challenge, and then the End and so on. With a new caves update, it would be fun to not only explore bigger biomes, but have different difficulty in each cave biome. For example, there could be an underground cave spider nest which has a ton of good loot from "unfortunate traveling villagers". But you decide not to go into that nest just yet because you're not equipped enough to take on that many spiders at once. So you decide to explore the cave system and figure out which layers you are able to access with your tools and armor stats. Heck, maybe there could even be a new "flaming arrow" due to the nether update with the soul fire in the 1.16 snapshot where you put an arrow and soul fire torch in a crafting bench. This could be the cave spiders' weakness and you and your friends battle it out and finally get to the multiple cave spider spawners enveloped in webs and in the center of those spawners are high tier loot.

Basically what I'm saying is, Minecraft is such a great game and I've been playing it all my life. Instead of just adding new items and cool things to the game, I'd like to see a challenging progression system within the caves where players need to strategize and overcome rewarding challenges within the caves. I don't know if it's possible, but maybe even lowering the bedrock Y value level could help add space for new possibilities.

    Shimmering caves

A nice addition to cave update would be a new type of cave: shimmering cave. It would contain a new ore: shimmerock (there could be a better name for it). It would look like stone block with lots of small light blue rocks in it and it would emit a moderate amount of light, making the cave slightly lit.

The shimmerock ore could only be mined with silk touch, otherwise it would drop shimmerock as an item. As an item it could be used in three different ways:
    1. A new light source: to make a lamp. Similar to a redstone lamp, but it would have different appearance and a bluish light.
    2. Shimmerock torch. It would be similar to a redstone torch and could power things and would have a bluish top. But it would be the only way to power things - no block like redstone block, and no powder to make a trail.
    3. To make a new potion. The effect would be to make you glow in the dark for some time: there would be a radius of light surrounding you.

The ore itself could be used to provide a growing environment for white mushrooms (read below) and also it would be a nice decorative block.

White mushrooms. They would grow in shimmering caves and would have ghostly appearance. In order to grow they must be within the light radius of the shimmerock ore.
These mushrooms could be used in four ways:
    1. Additional food source for mushroom stews.
    2. It could be used in composter and would have a high level of compost-ability, making them quite useful. But they would be rare, so they wouldn't be overpowered.
    3. To make a new potion which could make you invisible to phantoms for a few minutes.
    4. For decoration.

I think the cave update should add stalactites and stalagmites of stone, cobblestone, granite, andesite, diorite, polished granite, polished andesite, polished diorite, and mossy cobblestone.
