Caves are way too boring, structures such as dungeons, strongholds, and mine shafts need a new look. Instead of that small 7x7x7 room, there could be multiple rooms, maybe even layers, same thing for mine-shafts and strongholds, maybe surface level entrances, to both make it bigger and easier to find. As for caves They need to be bigger and more tedious to get through, more treasures and secrets, lost ruins and discoveries to help carry the lore of the game in a very small way.

More ores that we can make armor and tools with

There was going to be a new ore, but they chose not to do that. They could also add that ore, it was called ruby.

I play Minecraft: Pocket Edition, and you are right, caves need a massive overhaul as villages did in 1.14! But we were announced a Nether Update in Minecon Live 2019, so that's at least fine. Maybe Dungeons, Abandoned Mineshafts, and Strongholds could also be updated? But caves in general need an overhaul.

Definitely would suggest crystals that could (i guess) be made into armor and weapons which would be around the same strength as iron but a little bit lower but I think more gems and stone and different cave generation and just something new. I feel overall that caves are pretty boring overall to explore an update would really be nice to explore

(Tamable Bats that you can send off to surface to retrieve food items while you explore)

Is it weird I think we should also be more than one kind of bat and we should be able to tame some bats? Like we can tame fruit bats insect eating bats are neutral and vampire bats are hostile. Maybe fruit bats could carry a small amount of things caves are to tight an area for mules llamas and other carrier animals but fruit bats a pretty big and really strong so the could maybe do that?

Here are some ideas for new ores that can come to the game to enrich gameplay!

It is difficult to add new ores to the game, as you don’t want to affect the balance between existing. In my opinion, diamonds have always been and should always be the strongest and rarerest resource to find. None of its current properties should be changed, and I think that new ores should be built around the current properties of existing ones. Here are a few of my ideas:
Copper - Similar rarity to iron, but is slightly stronger yet slows the player down.
Silver - Is slightly rather than Copper/Iron, and can be used to create armor, but maybe it could possibly be more applicable to redstone. Maybe instead, silver can only be used to craft redstone entities like repeaters and comparators. Maybe copper and silver can create different speed variants of powered rails compared to the gold ones!
Tin - Tin can be weaker than iron, but when crafted with iron can create steel, which is a much stronger building alternative and can only be used to craft stell tools and armor. The tools/armor would be much stronger and long lasting than iron, but harder to repair or enchant.
Pearl - Can only be found in deep floors of ocean biomes, but are incredibly valuable for trading.
Uranium - Can he found in rare areas of caves, and are extremely hazardous. Maybe they can cause radiation/poisoning when in a certain radius, and have a small chance of exploding when mined. Uranium can be used to create Radiatiors that poison mobs, or can enhance TNT to make it much more powerful and damaging. To contrast -
Lead - Lead is as rare as gold/redstone, but can be used to fight against poisoning and radiation. If lead armor/tools are used for too long, it can maybe cause a poison effect as well.

I think that adding things like crystal formations and more gemstone ores would be a great addition to caves, and it would definitely add a sense of fantasy and magic while still being dark and ominous. Possibly adding new mobs both hostiles and dociles, and new tools and armor would be cool

You guys know what I think they should add? I actually don't know what they should add. This is the only idea I can think of: This may make you guys think I'm crazy, but I think they should add maybe, uhhh, how 'bout paint?! Or maybe even mirrors! No? How about they add WHALES? OR EVEN SNAKES? How about worms? If they added bees, why not worms, snakes, and/or whales?

I think diamonds should remain on top for armor and (most) tools

Edit: ManFromMarz18; "Uranium - Can he found in rare areas of caves, and are extremely hazardous. Maybe they can cause radiation/poisoning when in a certain radius, and have a small chance of exploding when mined."

I think that the effects should scale with game difficulty, with higher explosion chance/ bigger radius (or damage) on the harder the difficulty, and on peaceful it should not explode and do little damage to you.

Caves are one of those things in Minecraft that can be overhauled, like oceans and villages. Certain things that must be fixed are things like the upgrade system. Currently the upgrade system is wood to stone, stone to iron, and iron to diamond. This needs to be fixed, because it gets really boring and repetitive. Adding copper between stone and iron, and sapphire or ruby between iron and diamond. I stand by the belief that nothing should replace diamond as the best material, but something should be added that's similar in rarity and durability. For example, a system of purifying iron into steel, is a good idea, and maybe steel could auto smelt or something. I think all these new ores should get armor, tools, and recipes based off them for full availability and praise. A cave update is needed for Minecraft, and must be overhauled.

Yes!! Like maybe crystals, amethyst, sapphire, topaz, there are so many types of ore that should be added!

Strip mining should be less viable as an option, or more interesting.

New ores please 🥺. With mining, all you really need is iron, diamond, and coal. There’s not a lot of useful ores in the game.
