I think iron should be alot rarer and add some new ores inbetween caol and iron. Maybe add a new kind of stone deeper underground that requires iron or higher to mine and is where most of the iron is.

Maybe surfaced small caves called rabbit holes. You could find large amounts of, well, rabbits. There could also be fake rabbit holes, with spiders and bunches of cobwebs, or slimes and bunches of slime blocks.

Mushroom Hollows. Mountains dug down in a tunnel through the center. They could have patches of rare foliage, Like new mushrooms and ferns, that glow at nightime and prevent mob spawning. It could also have special passive mobs that make their home there.

How about cages that are related to their specific biome like a desert cave can be sandy.

We should be getting more ores like sapphire, ruby, steel, iridium, cobalt, etc. There are so many fascinating ores out there! This would open up the possibility for more tools, weapons, and armor. You can also use some of the new ores to upgrade certain items in the game. For example, if you make a certain block called, just for example, and Upgrade Block, which uses a certain ore, just for example, cobalt to upgrade an enchantment table. Which in return can give us more "Legendary" Enchants. These enchants will be very strong, a high amount of level cost, maybe efficiency 7, which will insta mine stone without the use of a beacon. Just little ideas like this are obviously at the core of the game, which is mining and crafting.

Gem stuff would be really cool including some machinery that would help dig? I’m not exactly sure, but that would be fun. Also, trying to include Java things to Bedrock?

Fossils are still very rare. Not so good of an idea though.

I like this a lot! And I think it would be amazing in almost every way, and to add onto it, what if there were small biomes as stated but they sometimes had special things that only appear in them like glowing mushrooms, and special mob variations.

You can still find rubies in the games files, so maybe rubies could come with it

The cave update is basically the most important update Minecraft could have. The first word of the game is MINE. No one ever mines anymore because all the materials can be found in generated structures or even farmed from mobs. New ores would benefit a lot if you could only find them in caves. We could use them in important ways like new armor or new blocks but not obtained from structures. Even emerald (the rarest ore) is easily farmed from villagers. We need new cave systems, ores, recipes, and even maybe a cave mob.

Mmmmm...great idea. I'm agree with you. But I hope that there would be less mobs in the caves.

Since I started to play Minecraft in 2015,I've got scared by the mobs, for they suddenly appeared in the caves.(Fortunately I didn't got a heart attack)

Once a skeleton shoted at me at the cave and I was goin' upstairs. I fell down and dropped into the lava. Then I have never been to that cave.

    And... I hope less coal(cuz I mined 75 coals at a time)and more iron(but I mined just 6 irons).

It would be cool to have blocks (ores, etc) that are only visible at certain times of day. Perhaps they begin to glow after midnight but during the day they just look like gravel or something.

YES YES YES! I have been wanting this for a very long time, we could get stalagmites and stuff! Maybe more stone? More Ores! Which means more Items for armor and weapons and tools. It would be GREAT!

I think they should re-do the cave generation. It would be far more enjoyable to explore gigantic caves with possible threats at every corner than mine in a straight line. Caves could be designed as an adventure. You start near the top and venture down. As you descend there could be possible encounters (mine shafts, cave temples, traps, cave villages) increasing in difficulty but at completely random. Ores would have an increased chance of spawning in caves, discouraging strip mining (an ore between iron and diamonds like titanium would be great). The deeper, the more difficult the mobs (cave exclusive mobs like trolls would be good). At the bottom I suggest a “mini nether”. There would be a far greater amount of lava and netherrak eluding to the nether. This is where you will find diamonds and conclude your adventure.

I agree with that idea mostly. I think that stalagmites would look very wird in the game, but endemic cave mobs are great idea. I would like to see some kind of elve mob in caves that will attact player if he is holding diamonds/gold/emeralds in his hands. That mob could be one bloct tall and could have the abillity to destroy blocks like player can. Player could juse that mob for mining (they could mine for player), but in order to do that player should pay to them with some precious material (maby new ore?).

i wish they added sapphire and ruby.

also would be cool to see different cave zones maybe abandoned dungeons with mobs that only spawn in these caves.

I think bedrock should also spawn deeper in the ground making more room for exploration as well as more ores deeper down. There could be ores like titanium that are stronger than diamond. The lever at which bedrock spawns now I starting to feeling not that deep, so it would add a lot more of a sense of exploration when you go that deep. Stone could also become compact stone when you get really deep. Compact stone would take longer to mine, but there would be better ores near compact stone.
