Big Boats idea 2

So what I was thinking is there would be a large boat frame, or something like a giant rowboat, minus the oars. You could place blocks on it and build houses, there would also be a steering wheel block that you can place once the boat is complete. Just place a pressure plate in front of the steering wheel to activate it just stand on the pressure plate, and the controls work like on a rowboat. Except for a little bit slower because it's bigger boat. There will also be on one side to get on from the water. This would be important for Ocean Adventures, because you have all your stuff with you to take away to take on your adventures. Once we were to do this, there could also be pirates!

    The pirates could be villagers that had gold swords and ships, they could attack you board your ship too.

    no pirates yet but I think this would be cool then we could see all the new update aquatic features and finding buried treasure and loot in shipwrecks would be easier this would be so cool I hope that they implement this into Minecraft

    They could look like an unrecked shipwreck.  Though not sure how you would craft something of that size, it gets kind of hard to place if its to big of an item, it may suffocate you or glitch to land,  this giant ship could possibly be made a structure that you could fix and then drive it.

    Add a new crafting table type block that creates large items such as a large boat frame. You could also build on that frame and build an engine that needs to have coal to work o you can use villagers/other players.

    I had the idea that larger boats could be similar to golems or the wither in the sense that you could place blocks in a specific configuration and then they turn into the larger boat.

    This would be awesome! It would help when you have a lot of people or a lot of pets.
