2FA (2 Factor Authentication)

With tons of Mojang accounts getting compromised and even sometimes youtubers and staff accounts getting stolen, Mojang should really do something to combat this like adding 2FA using the Google Authenticator app, this will help users know their account is extra secure and lower the amount of compromised accounts.

    They should make this optional because 2FA such a pain in the ass to do repeatedly multiple times, especially when you have multiple devices.

    Now that they have transitioned to using Microsoft accounts, this issue has been resolved. Unless you have a client that allows you to steal other peoples session IDs, there should be no issue.
