Hedgehogs

I would like hedgehogs to be added to Minecraft; this would be to make forests more unique. I can’t think of any way they could be useful in survival, but I think it would widen the variety of mobs that could be found.

    A blowgun idea with this would work well! I’ve always wanted for some way in Minecraft to have PVP with one person hiding. This “Hedgehog Spine” combined with spider eyes would poison the target. This would work on maps too for an “Assassin” concept.

    It would be nice to add such a mob as a hedgehog to the birch forest
    When attacking a hedgehog, you receive damage, as if the player were striking a sea guard
    Also, the player will receive damage if he gets very close to the hedgehog
    If the hedgehog takes damage, it will panic and its further behavior will be like that of cows or sheep
    If there is an apple lying on the ground, the hedgehog will run up and pick it up. For some time, an apple will lie on the hedgehog's back as an object. If you hit a hedgehog, the apple will fall out

    You could shoot them in dispensers.

    Even if it doesn’t have a purpose i feel like it would add a lot to the atmosphere of forests since that’s were they are generally found around Europe. Also they would have to look like wild hedgehogs and not the domestic ones found all over the world as pets.

    And if you name one Sonic it turns blue similar to what happens if you name a rabbit Toast.

    They are underappreciated, they should be added to Minecraft to widen the variety of mobs and raise awareness about their declining numbers in the wild.

    There is already a hedge hog in Minecraft dungeons and I think it’s a great model already to add into Minecraft

    We think this would be a great idea, they could be different colours depending on where they live. And be able to dye them. You could tame them with an apple and they could spike the creepers to stop the, blowing up. And hurt other mobs with their spines.
