I think a slight shaking and a rumbling sound occurring at random rare intervals would be really neat too.

Or just lava rain in general! It'll look like lava dripping from netherrack, looking like normal rain but fewer drops. And it harms the player if netherrack is above the player with no different block separating the two. Like Mojang wants, it only kills the player if it's the player's fault as they could protect themself from the rain

    GREAT IDEA!

In certain biomes like the soul sand valley, maybe small dust devils could appear?

Or there could be a weird version of night and day where maybe it gets warmer in the nether which spawns stronger mobs?

Lava rain? If it hasn’t been suggested

    1. In the basalt deltas, there could be infrequent ash storms which coat many blocks in ash layers, similar to snow layers, which could be used to craft either a new block similar to the mud bricks, but an ashy color, or some kind of volcanic rock, like tuff. This wouldn’t happen constantly, and it would blow away after some time.

    2. I really like the idea of lava spouts.

    3. I don’t think that any negative disasters should happen in the warped forest, I think it is meant to be an oasis, but the rest of the nether should be harder, specially the nether wastes and the crimson forests.

    4. No nether weather should interfere with nether tunnels, hubs, or other portal networks, as that was originally the main purpose for the nether existing.

Soul surges: soul sand valley’s fog turns a deeper blue, and surges act like lightning. Periodically, a random soul sand block would emit souls, knocking players straight up with temporary slow falling effect. During these surges, skeleton horses would also spawn (immune to projectile & fall damage here, arrows would go through them) and if hit by a soul eruption, they turn to wither skeleton.

Ghast fogs: I think ghasts constantly spawning & destroying terrain is kind of annoying, so this should be a cue for when they start spawning, at least just for nether wastes. White or biome fog rolls in & slightly reduces visibility.

Strangeness?: Crying-obsidian-purple particles start floating around in warped forests and spawn cows, goats, and endermites.

I think something just like a storm but instead of rain it's fire or inflicts withering or something. Obviously that would be very deadly so it could be warned of with some rumbling sounds or maybe a shift in music a good while beforehand.

The basalt deltas have this ash stuff in the air, maybe it could form into an ash blizzard of sorts.

A soul sand storm could be cool, maybe it would slow down your speed regardless of what biome you're in.

It's a good idea but do the natural events need to be so terribly dangerous? Simply something cool and interesting would be good enough for me.

There should be an Awakening that only happens in soul sand biomes near bones. What would happen is the long-dead beast will awaken for 1 minute and it has 100 HP. If you kill it, you would get the Bone Hammer. if you use it, it has 50% more damage to skeletons, wither skeletons, and the wither

Lava rain sounds cool! Maybe it'd do half a heart of damage every second or so, and would last for a couple of minutes? And then lava would rise a block or so, depending on the length of the rain, for a certain amount of time, before lowering again.

NO! Entities are not weather! This seems too silly to be an official addition to Minecraft, it seems like an April fool's update.

What about an ash storm? After volcanic eruptions I've heard that thick clouds of ash can obstruct visibility. You could have a weather condition where it seems to "snow" ash in a biome, perhaps leading to ash buildup on the blocks, similar to snowfall.

How about, idea, "ash cloud" fog appears and ash particles appear everywhere. More common in and near basalt deltas.
