Palm & Coconut Trees (was: Palm Trees)

There a few different types of trees in Minecraft but I think one that would really liven up the world, and that could fit well with the new Update Aquatic, are palm trees. They could only generate on or around beaches obviously. Also, I would really really want coconuts trees to be added too. The coconuts could be kind of like cocoa beans but a little different. You could drink from them and eat them. I feel like this would really help and is something I’ve wanted for a while.

    Drinking Coconut Milk should have the same effects as drinking regular milk, removing any potion effects on the player.

    I agree. This adds a better vibe when on a beach biome rather than just having sand.

    Maybe the coding could be like you can only place palm trees on sand, or only on beach biomes.

    If they generated on any beach biome they could generate in places they really wouldn't fit

    Yes!! I've always wondered why there were no palm trees when there are so many empty beaches in the game.

    I applaud! Palm trees are definitely a great but subtle addition to the game, and cool items like coconuts and coconut milk make this a killer idea! I also suggest making these trees pretty rare, to make it a treat when you find their wood, coconuts and leaves!

    I think coconut milk should also be able to make coconut cakes

    what if you could drink water from a coconut and then affects would be cleared or something. or I guess you could drink the coconut juice and it would clear affects, but its a one time thing.

    Palm trees are coming soon to Minecraft some day after the Savanna update so expect a new wood variant...

    Plam trees r a great idea. The deserts and beaches could use trees because it's better then having noting.

    There could even be different palms for different biomes. Beach could have coconut palm, desert can have date palm, jungle can have acai palm, swamps can have saw palmetto, and savanna can have jelly palms.

    Palm Trees should generate only in the warm Beach biomes, a Palm Tree in the Snowy Beach or in the Stone Shore would not fit.

    In Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 it showed the characters going on an island that had palm trees. I wonder what else they're hiding?

    Apart from having sand, beaches also have turtles. And who doesn't like turtles? Also, coconuts should be the size of a conduit be place-able and you can use shears on them to make the drinkable version. (The result is an empty version that cannot be filled)

    well it is already confirmed that palm trees will be in the game not sure but i really like coconut's so i would love to see them in the game
