While I've been playing Minecraft, I've been realising the lack of redstone for farming and the fact that you need to see something or else it won't work. So I thought of a robot that mines crops.
It's features
This crop mining robot needs to be within 50 blocks of a charger/transmitter/drop-off where you need to code how it moves so that it avoids obstacles. You also can code whether or not it sucks from the side or pulls out of the ground or both. Then, when it's done it will go back to the drop off and unload it's 10,000 crop cargo. It also has an upgrade to add drone propellers.
The interface
The interface show's a 50-block radius from the transmitter (101 by 101 block range) where you can select a path for it. It would also need settings (e.g. When collected 250 items return to cargo drop-off and charge). When you upgrade, the interface is updated, then if you scroll you change between Y levels so you can make it move anywhere within a 50 block radius (for glow berries and other hanging crops).
The design
The design is a slab sized design with 4 circular wheels to allow it to move in any direction. It also has a sucker on the side that is used to collect sweet berries and drone propellers that will fold out to start flying, allowing it to get glow berries.
Stuff behind walls doesn't happen
Also please make it so if you don't see something or it is behind a wall it still works. Farms like mob spawners don't work unless you're looking at them which is really annoying.
thanks
