Ability to leash minecarts together like boats.

With the recent changes to leash mechanics, it feels like a no-brainer to add the ability to leash minecarts together like with boats and other mobs. This would be great for transit systems as it would allow players to only use one train of minecarts instead of many individual ones, preventing collusions that would send multiple in different directions. In java this would also make the minecart with furnace more reliable, as one would not need one on each end of a line of minecarts, instead only needing one. In niche systems, this could also reduce the ammount of powered rails required to have multiple parralel tracks, as one could chain the parralel minecarts to one another.

    great idea, imagine making trains like this and traveling around with mobs and friends. this would be a very cool roleplay mechanic

    would be amazing if you add a jungle village and swamp village and would also be amazing if mojand adds new slingshot weapon and bring the new ice captain village and make this new structure castle  to where you can put a pillager, a vindicator and evoker.

    yeah! today i tried to do a train with minecart with furnance. you already have an ability to connect furnance minecart with a normal minecart, but train breaks on every turn!

    je pense que sa pourait être géniale car les minecart n'ont que 1 place alor pouvaire avoir genre notre moteur à charbon derrière nos coffre à l'avant et nous au milieu sa serait géniale sans oublier que l'on pourait aussi faire des parc d'attraction

    hey Mojang employee that has to read all of these, make it a hitch that you craft with chains and copper that way you can integrate it into the next drop

    if there are chains should be a gamerule (ON BOTH EDITIONS) to change the distance in between if someone wants something different and only apply to chains placed after the rule is set to have multiple lengths, and a gamerule for that which lets you choose if it applies to new chains or all chains!

    I agree with using chains instead of leads, but the idea is perfect. As you said this also gives an opportunity to fix furnace minecarts. Furnace minecart connected "trains" should be able to turn, go up and down without disconnecting from eachother in weird ways.

    It should use chains to, well, chain them together! Maybe more minecart variants as well to make them more used. I basically never use minecarts outside of redstone builds/farms which is kinda sad.

    I think a workaround could be using command blocks or rails with precise timing to simulate minecarts moving together. Not perfect, but it can help for now.

    Make ghast tentacles more short and make more nether biomes and add holiday creator features like ripoffs and add mob vote losers
