So everyone can agree that survival post end or even post nether is easy, but what if we take a major game mechanic from terraria?
My suggestion is to add an optional "brutal mode" that is on by default, and can be turned off.
how to works is it counts how many players that have played the server in the last 7 days and checks if all of them have exited the end via portal. this can be changed like bed sleeping was if need be.
when activated it would permantly alter the world with new challenges such as tougher mobs like a tank zombie with more health but could give an end game ore or two that could have a (very) complex spawning system.
the ores should be minable with only a netherite pickaxe and are titanium and platnium. and will have ore deposits set at world generation but will only appear as and drop stone to not inconveinance the player, using an and statement such as "if brutal mode active is true and brutal mode on is true show ore, otherwise keep as hidden." for the best code possible.
the ore smelts into nuggets, as players will most likely use fortune for the ore. and each ore has a diffrent set: titanium has a thorns effect that stacks with the enchantment, and platnium has both knockback resistance and fire protection set into the armor. the tools can vary with titanium doing more damage by 2 and mining faster but platnium gets a faster attack speed and longer range by about 2. both ores can survive lava like netherite.
