Request for Minecraft Bedrock Edition Support on Linux

Hello Mojang Team,

 

I'm a dedicated Minecraft player and a Linux user, and I’d like to kindly request official support for Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Linux.

 

Right now, Linux users don’t have a reliable or native way to enjoy Bedrock Edition, despite it being available on platforms like Windows, Android, and consoles. While Minecraft Java Edition runs well on Linux, Bedrock’s cross-platform play and performance advantages make it a preferred version for many of us—especially when playing with friends on other devices.

 

There is a growing community of Linux gamers who would love to have access to the Bedrock version without relying on unstable workarounds or emulators. Supporting Linux would not only promote inclusivity and accessibility, but also expand Minecraft’s player base.

 

Thank you for your time and for continuing to develop such an amazing game. I hope you’ll consider this request in the future.
