Chest Idea:
- XP Locked Chests - These chests (Sculk Chests?) would spawn naturally in a Sculk Dimension inside of custom structures where more dangerous structures have higher tier chests, but they would work just fine in current ancient cities. They should have a different texture than normal chests (sculk themed). These chests are not able to be crafted, and can't be mined or destroyed until unlocked. Trying to mine a locked chest would not drop items like a normal destroyed chest, it would be similar to attempting to mine bedrock. These chests would have different tiers, and they would require the player to spend a certain amount of XP to open (Such as 5 XP levels 10 , 25, 50, 100, etc.). The higher the XP cost the better the loot. Blinding books (Blinding Enchantment) could be found exclusively in XP chests, with higher Blinding levels reserved for higher tier chests. Once opened, they remain unlocked permanently and function like normal chests.
XP chests would make exploring ancient cities so much more enjoyable, and would make opening these chests feel more rewarding. Imagine creeping through the dark, avoiding the warden, and hoping for a high tier chest. They would really add to the sculk atmosphere as well, and would make you prepare more before entering an ancient city. These chests would make XP more useful and sought after, as currently XP is only used for enchanting. This might also encourage players to be more cautious because they lose their experience upon death.
