Overview:
Introduce a rare, intelligent, and emotional mob to the Nether—the Fire Wolf Pack, led by a unique Alpha King Wolf. They live in harsh environments and behave like realworld predator packs, bringing fresh lore, challenge, and companionship to the game.
Mob Behavior:
Location: Deep within a new Nether biome or structure (e.g., "Charred Ravine" or "Blazing Den").
Pack Structure: Always spawns in groups of 3–7 with one Alpha King.
Neutral at first but become aggressive if provoked or approached carelessly.
The King howls to signal danger; pack members coordinate and circle the player.
Unique attacks:
Fire bite (inflicts burn damage)
Coordinated lunge (only when multiple wolves are nearby)
Taming System:
Requires Inferno Jerky, a rare item crafted using:
1x Wither Bone (dropped as rarely as a skull from Wither Skeletons)
1x Magma Cube Core (new rare drop from large Magma Cubes)
1x Cooked Hoglin Flesh (new item from Hoglins)
Rightclicking a Fire Wolf gives a 20% chance to tame it.
Only the Alpha King Wolf needs to be tamed for the whole pack to follow you.
After 3 failed attempts, the King will retreat and cannot be tamed for 10 ingame days.
> "The King returns to the lava den... to feed his starving pups."
Cooldown Rule (LoreTied):
If the player attempts to locate or approach the pups during the cooldown:
The pack becomes aggressive.
Iron Armor: Likely death
Diamond Armor: Health drops to ~50%
Netherite Armor: 2–3 hearts of damage. Pack King Mechanic:
The King is visibly different (brighter flame pattern, molten eyes).
Riding the King: After taming, players can ride the King with a unique crafted saddle (requires Blaze Rods and Leather).
Suggested Name:
